| CVE-2022-49077 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmmremap.c: avoid pointless invalidate_range_start/end on mremap(old_size=0) If an mremap() syscall with old_size=0 ends up in move_page_tables(), it will call invalidate_range_start()/invalidate_range_end() unnecessarily, i.e. with an empty range. This causes a WARN in KVM's mmu_notifier. In the past, empty ranges have been diagnosed to be off-by-one bugs, hence the WARNing. Given the low (so far) number of unique reports, the benefits of detecting more buggy callers seem to outweigh the cost of having to fix cases such as this one, where userspace is doing something silly. In this particular case, an early return from move_page_tables() is enough to fix the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49074 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/gic-v3: Fix GICR_CTLR.RWP polling It turns out that our polling of RWP is totally wrong when checking for it in the redistributors, as we test the *distributor* bit index, whereas it is a different bit number in the RDs... Oopsie boo. This is embarassing. Not only because it is wrong, but also because it took *8 years* to notice the blunder... Just fix the damn thing. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49064 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cachefiles: unmark inode in use in error path Unmark inode in use if error encountered. If the in-use flag leakage occurs in cachefiles_open_file(), Cachefiles will complain "Inode already in use" when later another cookie with the same index key is looked up. If the in-use flag leakage occurs in cachefiles_create_tmpfile(), though the "Inode already in use" warning won't be triggered, fix the leakage anyway. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49046 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: dev: check return value when calling dev_set_name() If dev_set_name() fails, the dev_name() is null, check the return value of dev_set_name() to avoid the null-ptr-deref. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47659 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/plane: Move range check for format_count earlier While the check for format_count > 64 in __drm_universal_plane_init() shouldn't be hit (it's a WARN_ON), in its current position it will then leak the plane->format_types array and fail to call drm_mode_object_unregister() leaking the modeset identifier. Move it to the start of the function to avoid allocating those resources in the first place. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47650 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: soc-compress: prevent the potentially use of null pointer There is one call trace that snd_soc_register_card() ->snd_soc_bind_card()->soc_init_pcm_runtime() ->snd_soc_dai_compress_new()->snd_soc_new_compress(). In the trace the 'codec_dai' transfers from card->dai_link, and we can see from the snd_soc_add_pcm_runtime() in snd_soc_bind_card() that, if value of card->dai_link->num_codecs is 0, then 'codec_dai' could be null pointer caused by index out of bound in 'asoc_rtd_to_codec(rtd, 0)'. And snd_soc_register_card() is called by various platforms. Therefore, it is better to add the check in the case of misusing. And because 'cpu_dai' has already checked in soc_init_pcm_runtime(), there is no need to check again. Adding the check as follow, then if 'codec_dai' is null, snd_soc_new_compress() will not pass through the check 'if (playback + capture != 1)', avoiding the leftover use of 'codec_dai'. | ||||
| CVE-2025-4598 | 5 Debian, Linux, Oracle and 2 more | 11 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Linux and 8 more | 2026-11-05 | 4.7 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in systemd-coredump. This flaw allows an attacker to force a SUID process to crash and replace it with a non-SUID binary to access the original's privileged process coredump, allowing the attacker to read sensitive data, such as /etc/shadow content, loaded by the original process. A SUID binary or process has a special type of permission, which allows the process to run with the file owner's permissions, regardless of the user executing the binary. This allows the process to access more restricted data than unprivileged users or processes would be able to. An attacker can leverage this flaw by forcing a SUID process to crash and force the Linux kernel to recycle the process PID before systemd-coredump can analyze the /proc/pid/auxv file. If the attacker wins the race condition, they gain access to the original's SUID process coredump file. They can read sensitive content loaded into memory by the original binary, affecting data confidentiality. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99256 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm cache: fix issue with background work locking dm cache used a rw_semaphore for background_work_lock. Write locks on rw_semaphores have strict owner semantics, but there was no guarantee that the process that locked background_work_lock was the same process that unlocked it. This can be easily seen using a kernel compiled with CONFIG_DEBUG_RWSEMS. Given a dm cache device <cache>, run: 'dmsetup suspend <cache> && dmsetup resume <cache>'. This will trigger a kernel warning: DEBUG_RWSEMS_WARN_ON((rwsem_owner(sem) != current) && !rwsem_test_oflags(sem, RWSEM_NONSPINNABLE)) triggered by cache_resume(). To fix this, switch from a rw_semaphore to a spinlock and a wait queue. dm cache already has a wait queue and associated counter, migration_wait and nr_allocated_migrations, that was getting woken up when background work was getting completed, but wasn't actually used by anything. This is replaced by the background_work queue and counter. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99258 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 4.1 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/hyperv: Avoid using per-cpu output page in hv_apicid_to_vp_index() hv_apicid_to_vp_index() currently uses the per-cpu hypercall input and output pages. This function is called when running in VTL2 and when running in an SEV-SNP CoCo VM with no paravisor. In the former case, the output page is allocated, but in the latter case it is not, so the hypervisor stores the output VP index in memory that has not been allocated by the guest. Fix this by using the input page for both input and output. The hypercall has very small input and output, so sharing the same page for both is straightforward. An alternative fix is to allocate the per-cpu output page when running in an SEV-SNP CoCo guest, but this uses significantly more memory, particularly with larger vCPUs counts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99259 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 2.3 Low |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc/tegra: pmc: Fix uninitialised clock rate For legacy 32-bit Tegra devices, the warning in the tegra_pmc_enter_suspend_mode() function is being triggered because the early_pmc->rate variable is never configured and hence, always 0. This issue started occurring after updating the PMC driver to create the PMC context dynamically which causes the 'rate' to be set in the new dynamic context, but missed updating the rate in the early PMC context. Fix this by initialising the early_pmc->rate variable for 32-bit Tegra devices when the rate for the PMC context is initialised. [treding@nvidia.com: move assignment to existing #ifdef block] | ||||
| CVE-2026-99269 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Wait for SCX_OPSS_DISPATCHING before moving tasks off DSQs A task can be found on a non-local DSQ while the CPU which dispatched it is still running ops.dequeue() and hasn't cleared SCX_OPSS_DISPATCHING. The DSQ consume and move paths don't wait for the dispatch to finish and can operate on the task concurrently with the dispatcher. Call scx_wait_dispatching() in scx_move_local_task_to_local_dsq(), unlink_dsq_and_switch_rq_lock() and move_task_between_dsqs() before they operate on the task. In scx_move_local_task_to_local_dsq(), wait before scx_resolve_local_dsq() as it may update p->scx.flags. | ||||
| CVE-2023-6610 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 6 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Logging and 3 more | 2026-11-05 | 7.1 High |
| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in smb2_dump_detail in fs/smb/client/smb2ops.c in the Linux Kernel. This issue could allow a local attacker to crash the system or leak internal kernel information. | ||||
| CVE-2023-6270 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2026-11-05 | 7 High |
| A flaw was found in the ATA over Ethernet (AoE) driver in the Linux kernel. The aoecmd_cfg_pkts() function improperly updates the refcnt on `struct net_device`, and a use-after-free can be triggered by racing between the free on the struct and the access through the `skbtxq` global queue. This could lead to a denial of service condition or potential code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2024-1151 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability was reported in the Open vSwitch sub-component in the Linux Kernel. The flaw occurs when a recursive operation of code push recursively calls into the code block. The OVS module does not validate the stack depth, pushing too many frames and causing a stack overflow. As a result, this can lead to a crash or other related issues. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0841 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 6.6 Medium |
| A null pointer dereference flaw was found in the hugetlbfs_fill_super function in the Linux kernel hugetlbfs (HugeTLB pages) functionality. This issue may allow a local user to crash the system or potentially escalate their privileges on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0775 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 6.7 Medium |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the __ext4_remount in fs/ext4/super.c in ext4 in the Linux kernel. This flaw allows a local user to cause an information leak problem while freeing the old quota file names before a potential failure, leading to a use-after-free. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0641 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| A denial of service vulnerability was found in tipc_crypto_key_revoke in net/tipc/crypto.c in the Linux kernel’s TIPC subsystem. This flaw allows guests with local user privileges to trigger a deadlock and potentially crash the system. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0639 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| A denial of service vulnerability due to a deadlock was found in sctp_auto_asconf_init in net/sctp/socket.c in the Linux kernel’s SCTP subsystem. This flaw allows guests with local user privileges to trigger a deadlock and potentially crash the system. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0607 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2026-11-05 | 6.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The issue is in the nft_byteorder_eval() function, where the code iterates through a loop and writes to the `dst` array. On each iteration, 8 bytes are written, but `dst` is an array of u32, so each element only has space for 4 bytes. That means every iteration overwrites part of the previous element corrupting this array of u32. This flaw allows a local user to cause a denial of service or potentially break NetFilter functionality. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0562 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els and 2 more | 2026-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux Kernel. When a disk is removed, bdi_unregister is called to stop further write-back and waits for associated delayed work to complete. However, wb_inode_writeback_end() may schedule bandwidth estimation work after this has completed, which can result in the timer attempting to access the recently freed bdi_writeback. | ||||
