| CVE-2026-57222 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 5.3 Medium |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, crafted IPv4 and IPv6 address pairs can collide in the IPPair hash because src/ippair.c did not compare the IP address family before reusing IPPair-backed state. This can apply state from one IP family to another for xbits track ip_pair, FTP data expectations, and, on the 7.0 release line, thresholding, detection_filter, and rate_filter rules using track by_both, causing incorrect detection state. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57226 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 3.7 Low |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, HTTP SWF decompression with the non-default swf-decompression feature and an unsafe decompress-depth can use the configured depth when allocating in src/util-file-decompression.c instead of limiting the allocation to the Flash file's actual data requirement. A crafted SWF response can therefore trigger an integer-related heap buffer overflow and crash Suricata; the default disabled feature and default depth are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57224 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the DHCP parser in rust/src/dhcp/dhcp.rs creates stateless transactions without recording their packet direction with AppLayerTxData::for_direction(), so a sensor that observes only one direction cannot mark the unseen direction inspected or free completed transactions. The RDP parser in rust/src/rdp/rdp.rs has the same direction-state defect. The per-flow transaction list can grow without bound and cleanup repeatedly scans it, causing increasing CPU and memory consumption and eventual denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57228 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 8.2 High |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 7.0.13 until 7.0.17, the SMTP MIME quoted-printable decoder in src/util-decode-mime.c can read one byte past a heap buffer when a quoted-printable escape sequence is split across traffic chunks and the following chunk contains exactly one byte. Crafted SMTP traffic can trigger the out-of-bounds read and crash Suricata when decode-quoted-printable MIME decoding is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.17. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63449 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 3.7 Low |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the SIP parser in rust/src/sip/parser.rs stores request and response body lengths in 16-bit fields. A SIP body larger than 65,536 bytes can truncate the length and prevent frame:request.body or frame:response.body from exposing the complete body to inspection, allowing content in the omitted portion to evade frame-based detection. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63450 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 3.7 Low |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 8.0.6, the FTP parser in src/app-layer-ftp.c treats a RETR or STOR command sent before PORT or PASV negotiation as a fatal application-layer error instead of a recoverable protocol event. The fatal state disables FTP application-layer parsing for the remainder of the TCP flow, so later commands can evade parser-dependent rules and logging; IPS mode instead drops the flow. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57227 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 7.5 High |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 7.0.0 until 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, the MQTT parser in rust/src/mqtt/mqtt.rs permits repeated PUBREC or PUBREL messages to be appended to one transaction without a limit. Crafted MQTT traffic can grow transaction state indefinitely, consuming CPU and memory and causing slowdown or denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63451 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 3.3 Low |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, a locally supplied detection rule that combines frame inspection without content and a transformed match without content can make src/detect-engine-prefilter.c select multiple non-prefilter frame engines while preparing signatures for non-prefilter inspection. Loading the crafted rule, including in test mode, can trigger a heap buffer overflow and crash Suricata; network traffic alone cannot reach the flaw. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63452 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 7.5 High |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the HTTP/1 parser limits decompression work per transaction but does not limit how many small brotli compression bombs a single flow can submit. With response-body-decompress-layer-limit enabled, repeated compressed responses make the decompression paths in rust/htp perform expensive work for every transaction, degrading packet processing and potentially causing loss of monitoring visibility or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57225 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-20 | 3.3 Low |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, src/datasets-context-json.c assumes that a configured JSON or NDJSON dataset value_key resolves to a string. A trusted or untrusted dataset or rule feed containing a non-string value for that key can cause a NULL pointer dereference during startup, configuration test mode, or rule reload, crashing Suricata before traffic processing. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93999 | 1 Redhat | 2 Build Keycloak, Red Hat Single Sign On | 2026-09-19 | 4.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the OIDC protocol implementation of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs during the token refresh process when the server restores requested audiences from stored client IDs. Keycloak fails to verify if the target audience client is still enabled before issuing a new access token. This allows an application with an existing refresh token to continue obtaining valid access tokens for a disabled client, potentially bypassing administrative access controls for resource servers that rely on offline JWT validation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63446 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-19 | 7.5 High |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, AppLayerParserSetTransactionInspectId() in src/app-layer-parser.c uses an inverted guard and marks only already-inspected transactions as inspected. On flows passed by a pass rule or pass-the-flow exception policy, detection is skipped, so completed transactions remain unmarked, are never freed, and are repeatedly rescanned. The per-flow list can grow without bound with quadratic cleanup cost, causing CPU and memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57223 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-19 | 7 High |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, the Windows service installation and parameter-update logic in src/win32-service.c can pass an unquoted service ImagePath to CreateServiceA. When Suricata is installed below a path containing spaces and an earlier path component is writable by a local low-privileged attacker, Windows can execute an attacker-controlled program as LocalSystem, resulting in local privilege escalation. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85272 | 1 Openedx | 1 Openedx-platform | 2026-09-19 | 4.3 Medium |
| Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. From Aspen.1 until Ulmo and Verawood.1, openedx/core/lib/extract_archive.py uses _is_bad_path to validate safe_extractall targets by comparing resolved path strings with startswith instead of comparing path components. A course author or staff user with course import permission can submit a crafted .tar.gz archive through the import_olx flow initiated by cms.djangoapps.contentstore.views.import_export.import_handler. An archive member can therefore escape into a sibling course staging directory whose name shares the attacker's base64 directory prefix, causing limited cross-tenant file corruption. Zip archives are not practically affected because ZipFile.extractall strips parent traversal segments, and the advisory does not establish arbitrary filesystem writes, file reads, or direct code execution. This issue is fixed in Ulmo and Verawood.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92967 | 2 Wordpress, Wppochipp | 2 Wordpress, Pochipp | 2026-09-19 | 6.1 Medium |
| The Pochipp plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'keyword' parameter in versions up to, and including, 1.20.2. This is due to insufficient output escaping , which reads $_GET['keyword'], applies only sanitize_text_field() (which strips tags but leaves double quotes intact) and interpolates the value directly into the value attribute of the search input via a PHP heredoc, without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user with upload_files capability (Author or above) into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link to /wp-admin/media-upload. | ||||
| CVE-2026-90402 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-19 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bus: mhi: host: Fix controller cleanup on EDL sysfs failure mhi_register_controller() adds the controller device before creating the optional trigger_edl sysfs file. If sysfs_create_file() fails, the error path only drops the device reference and leaves the device registered. Hence, call device_del() in the error path before put_device(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-90403 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-19 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtlwifi: pci: fix error path in rtl_pci_probe() In the last error path in rtl_pci_probe(), the cleanup functions are skipped due to a wrong goto label. Moreover, the successful call to rtl_init_rfkill(), ieee80211_register_hw(), rtl_debug_add_one() have to be reverted. Fix this issue by updating the labels and adding the relevant cleanup functions to the last error path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93039 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-19 | 7.4 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: meson: Keep link pointers valid on realloc failure meson_card_reallocate_links() grows the DAI link and private data arrays with two consecutive krealloc() calls and updates the owner pointers only after both calls have succeeded. A successful krealloc() may move the data: it frees the old block and returns a new one. When that happens for the link array and the second krealloc() then fails, card->dai_link still points to the block that krealloc() already freed, and the error path frees the new block too. The probe error path then calls meson_card_clean_references(), which dereferences card->dai_link and kfree()s it again, resulting in a use-after-free and a double free. Commit card->dai_link and card->num_links right after the first krealloc() succeeds, so the pointer always refers to a valid allocation that meson_card_clean_references() can walk and free. krealloc() with __GFP_ZERO zero-initializes the added entries, so walking them on the error path is safe. With both failure paths reduced to a plain return, drop the goto labels and the error message. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93042 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-19 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: dw-edma: Terminate all descriptors without callbacks The DMA Engine client documentation says in the "Terminate APIs" section of Documentation/driver-api/dmaengine/client.rst: "No callback functions will be called for any incomplete transfers." dw-edma instead calls vchan_cookie_complete() when a deferred STOP reaches the interrupt handler. This schedules a callback for the active descriptor and leaves other issued or submitted descriptors queued. A late callback after dmaengine_terminate_sync() can dereference client state that has already been freed, while leftover descriptors may later restart into reused buffers or leak. Move all issued and submitted descriptors to the terminated list whenever termination completes. For a pending STOP, do this from both the DONE and ABORT paths. Complete their cookies in order without scheduling callbacks. A STOP can remain pending until the running transfer raises an interrupt. Make device_synchronize() wait for such a pending STOP to complete before releasing terminated descriptors. Reuse it from free_chan_resources(), then release the remaining virt-dma resources. Sleep instead of busy-polling while waiting, and warn if the existing timeout expires. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93070 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-19 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: ipu6: Do not free aux device pdata after init ipu6_bus_initialize_device() stores the isys/psys pdata pointer in struct ipu6_bus_device and initializes the auxiliary device. After that point, error unwinding must drop the auxiliary device reference and let ipu6_bus_release() free both the bus device and adev->pdata. The isys and psys init paths already call put_device() when MMU initialization fails, and ipu6_bus_add_device() calls auxiliary_device_uninit() on auxiliary_device_add() failure. Both paths therefore run the bus release callback. The extra kfree(pdata) in the callers can release the same object a second time. Remove the manual pdata frees after the auxiliary device has been initialized. This issue was found by a static analysis checker and confirmed by manual source review. | ||||
