| Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.9.6 until 0.11.1, SafePlaywrightURLLoader in backend/open_webui/retrieval/web/utils.py validated a user-controlled hostname in Python and then let the Playwright browser resolve it again in the sync and async request interceptors. An authenticated user controlling authoritative DNS could return a public address to validation and an internal address to the browser, exposing responses from internal services or cloud metadata through web search or URL ingestion. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1. | ||||

| Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.10.0 until 0.11.1, DELETE /api/v1/knowledge/{id}/delete in backend/open_webui/routers/knowledge.py authorized deletion against the knowledge base but then removed its administrator-owned external connection without a separate administrator check or a check for other dependent knowledge bases. A non-administrator with write access to one external knowledge base could delete shared instance configuration and make every other knowledge base using that connection unavailable. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1. | ||||

| Pandora contains a path traversal vulnerability in its archive extraction worker. When processing a specially crafted archive or disk image, attacker-controlled file paths could be used without ensuring that the resulting destination remained within the intended extraction directory. An attacker able to submit a malicious file for analysis could use path traversal sequences or crafted paths to cause extracted content to be written outside the designated extraction directory, potentially overwriting files accessible to the Pandora worker process. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized modification of application or system files, denial of service, and potentially further compromise depending on the permissions of the Pandora process and the files that can be overwritten. The vulnerability is addressed by resolving each extraction destination path before writing and verifying that it remains below the expected extraction directory. Extraction attempts resolving outside this directory are rejected and reported as path traversal attempts. | ||||

| When the broker is processing message-based management requests, sent by an authenticated messaging client that is authorized with MANAGE permission to perform management-via-messaging, the parameter processing can trigger Java deserialization of certain method parameters that the broker will not utilise. The permitted types allow to craft a payload causing excessive computation and pinning the processing thread, leading to denial of service. This issue affects Apache Artemis: from 2.50.0 through 2.56.0; Apache ActiveMQ Artemis: from 1.3.0 through 2.44.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.57.0, which fixes the issue. | ||||

| A flaw was found in PCS (Pacemaker Configuration System). A local attacker with membership in the 'haclient' group can exploit the 'pcs host auth --token' command to read the contents of arbitrary files on the filesystem, provided the files are shorter than 256 bytes. The file contents are read with root privileges by the pcsd daemon and can be exfiltrated by the attacker through subsequent cluster node communication. | A flaw was found in the Device Authorization Grant flow of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs because the token redemption process fails to check if a user account is currently locked due to brute-force protection. If an attacker has an active session for a locked account, they can complete the device login process and receive new security tokens. | A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Bosch Sensortec BHI385 SensorAPI (C library) within the debug message parser function bhi385_parse_debug_message (located in bhi385_parse.c). The function parses FIFO events and extracts an 8-bit message length directly from the attacker-controlled event payload (callback_info->data_ptr[0]) without enforcing bounds checks or clamping the value. When copying the payload into a fixed-size stack buffer of 17 bytes (uint8_t debug_msg[17]) via memcpy, providing a length byte greater than 16 causes the function to write past the allocated stack boundary. This memory corruption can be triggered by a malicious or compromised sensor or bus participant, leading to a firmware crash, Denial of Service (DoS), or potentially the execution of arbitrary code via adjacent stack data corruption. | ||||

| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was discovered in the Bosch BME690 SensorAPI (C-driver) in version v1.0.3 and prior, specifically within the field data parsing logic in read_all_field_data (bme69x.c). The driver prefetches heater configuration registers into a contiguous 30-byte stack buffer (set_val) mapping IDAC, RES_HEAT, and GAS_WAIT tables. When parsing sensor field data, the gas_index is extracted using a 4-bit mask (0..15) but lacks boundary verification against the valid range (0..9). An attacker or a compromised peripheral mimicking a sensor on the I2C/SPI bus could return a payload with a gas index value of 10 or higher. This causes the driver to perform an out-of-bounds array access (set_val[20 + gas_index]), reading up to 6 bytes past the stack buffer. The leaked out-of-bounds byte is then written into the public gas_wait field, which may lead to measurement corruption or leak adjacent stack memory when telemetered or logged. | ||||

| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the PC bridge protocol decoder of BoschSensortec COINES_SDK (versions 2.10 through 2.12.2) allows attackers to cause a denial of service (process crash) or potentially execute arbitrary code. The bridge decoder ({{bridge_decoder.c}}) trusts the packet length field provided by the external device and forwards it to the host response queue ({{mqueue_add_data}}) without validating the bounds of the destination buffer. A malicious or compromised USB or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripheral can advertise a payload size up to ~3 KB, which exceeds the default queue slot size of 255 bytes. This results in an unbounded heap overwrite ({{memcpy}}), corrupting adjacent heap metadata on the host system when processing the device's response. | ||||

From 0.9.0 until 0.11.1, backend/open_webui/models/calendar.py stored the calendar event meta.alert_minutes value without type validation and the shared upcoming-event scheduler compared that value numerically. An authenticated user with the calendar permission could store a non-numeric alert_minutes value that raised an exception and aborted the instance-wide alert pass, suppressing all users' reminders while the event remained in the lookahead window. An authenticated user could store a cyclic chat tree and delete a message, causing a synchronous infinite loop on the server request loop that blocked every user's requests until the process was killed.
