| CVE-2020-11015 | 1 Thinx-device-api Project | 1 Thinx-device-api | 2025-04-23 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability has been disclosed in thinx-device-api IoT Device Management Server before version 2.5.0. Device MAC address can be spoofed. This means initial registration requests without UDID and spoofed MAC address may pass to create new UDID with same MAC address. Full impact needs to be reviewed further. Applies to all (mostly ESP8266/ESP32) users. This has been fixed in firmware version 2.5.0. | ||||
| CVE-2022-39252 | 1 Matrix | 1 Matrix-rust-sdk | 2025-04-23 | 8.6 High |
| matrix-rust-sdk is an implementation of a Matrix client-server library in Rust, and matrix-sdk-crypto is the Matrix encryption library. Prior to version 0.6, when a user requests a room key from their devices, the software correctly remembers the request. When the user receives a forwarded room key, the software accepts it without checking who the room key came from. This allows homeservers to try to insert room keys of questionable validity, potentially mounting an impersonation attack. Version 0.6 fixes this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2022-39254 | 1 Matrix-nio Project | 1 Matrix-nio | 2025-04-23 | 8.6 High |
| matrix-nio is a Python Matrix client library, designed according to sans I/O principles. Prior to version 0.20, when a users requests a room key from their devices, the software correctly remember the request. Once they receive a forwarded room key, they accept it without checking who the room key came from. This allows homeservers to try to insert room keys of questionable validity, potentially mounting an impersonation attack. Version 0.20 fixes the issue. | ||||

The problem is patched in version 2.8.9 on the `stable` branch and version 2.9.0.beta10 on the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches. There are no known workarounds.
| CVE-2022-39268 | 1 Orchest | 1 Orchest | 2025-04-23 | 8.1 High |
| ### Impact In a CSRF attack, an innocent end user is tricked by an attacker into submitting a web request that they did not intend. This may cause actions to be performed on the website that can include inadvertent client or server data leakage, change of session state, or manipulation of an end user's account. ### Patch Upgrade to v2022.09.10 to patch this vulnerability. ### Workarounds Rebuild and redeploy the Orchest `auth-server` with this commit: https://github.com/orchest/orchest/commit/c2587a963cca742c4a2503bce4cfb4161bf64c2d ### References https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-site_request_forgery https://cwe.mitre.org/data/definitions/352.html ### For more information If you have any questions or comments about this advisory: * Open an issue in https://github.com/orchest/orchest * Email us at rick@orchest.io | ||||

| CVE-2022-39288 | 1 Fastify | 1 Fastify | 2025-04-23 | 7.5 High |
| fastify is a fast and low overhead web framework, for Node.js. Affected versions of fastify are subject to a denial of service via malicious use of the Content-Type header. An attacker can send an invalid Content-Type header that can cause the application to crash. This issue has been addressed in commit `fbb07e8d` and will be included in release version 4.8.1. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may manually filter out http content with malicious Content-Type headers. | ||||
| CVE-2022-39292 | 1 Slack Morphism Project | 1 Slack Morphism | 2025-04-23 | 7.5 High |
| Slack Morphism is a modern client library for Slack Web/Events API/Socket Mode and Block Kit. Debug logs expose sensitive URLs for Slack webhooks that contain private information. The problem is fixed in version 1.3.2 which redacts sensitive URLs for webhooks. As a workaround, people who use Slack webhooks may disable or filter debug logs. | ||||
| CVE-2022-39271 | 1 Traefik | 1 Traefik | 2025-04-23 | 7.5 High |
| Traefik (pronounced traffic) is a modern HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer that assists in deploying microservices. There is a potential vulnerability in Traefik managing HTTP/2 connections. A closing HTTP/2 server connection could hang forever because of a subsequent fatal error. This failure mode could be exploited to cause a denial of service. There has been a patch released in versions 2.8.8 and 2.9.0-rc5. There are currently no known workarounds. | ||||

| MelisAssetManager provides deliveries of Melis Platform's assets located in every module's public folder. Attackers can read arbitrary files on affected versions of `melisplatform/melis-asset-manager`, leading to the disclosure of sensitive information. Conducting this attack does not require authentication. Users should immediately upgrade to `melisplatform/melis-asset-manager` >= 5.0.1. This issue was addressed by restricting access to files to intended directories only. | ||||

| MelisCms provides a full CMS for Melis Platform, including templating system, drag'n'drop of plugins, SEO and many administration tools. Attackers can deserialize arbitrary data on affected versions of `melisplatform/melis-cms`, and ultimately leads to the execution of arbitrary PHP code on the system. Conducting this attack does not require authentication. Users should immediately upgrade to `melisplatform/melis-cms` >= 5.0.1. This issue was addressed by restricting allowed classes when deserializing user-controlled data. | ||||

| CVE-2022-39299 | 1 Passport-saml Project | 1 Passport-saml | 2025-04-23 | 7.4 High |
| Passport-SAML is a SAML 2.0 authentication provider for Passport, the Node.js authentication library. A remote attacker may be able to bypass SAML authentication on a website using passport-saml. A successful attack requires that the attacker is in possession of an arbitrary IDP signed XML element. Depending on the IDP used, fully unauthenticated attacks (e.g without access to a valid user) might also be feasible if generation of a signed message can be triggered. Users should upgrade to passport-saml version 3.2.2 or newer. The issue was also present in the beta releases of `node-saml` before version 4.0.0-beta.5. If you cannot upgrade, disabling SAML authentication may be done as a workaround. | ||||
| CVE-2022-39278 | 2 Istio, Redhat | 2 Istio, Service Mesh | 2025-04-23 | 7.5 High |
| Istio is an open platform-independent service mesh that provides traffic management, policy enforcement, and telemetry collection. Prior to versions 1.15.2, 1.14.5, and 1.13.9, the Istio control plane, istiod, is vulnerable to a request processing error, allowing a malicious attacker that sends a specially crafted or oversized message which results in the control plane crashing when the Kubernetes validating or mutating webhook service is exposed publicly. This endpoint is served over TLS port 15017, but does not require any authentication from the attacker. For simple installations, Istiod is typically only reachable from within the cluster, limiting the blast radius. However, for some deployments, especially external istiod topologies, this port is exposed over the public internet. Versions 1.15.2, 1.14.5, and 1.13.9 contain patches for this issue. There are no effective workarounds, beyond upgrading. This bug is due to an error in `regexp.Compile` in Go. | ||||

Depending on the IDP used, fully unauthenticated attacks (e.g without access to a valid user) might also be feasible if generation of a signed message can be triggered. Users should upgrade to node-saml version 4.0.0-beta5 or newer. Disabling SAML authentication may be done as a workaround.
