CVE-2026-23327 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cxl/mbox: validate payload size before accessing contents in cxl_payload_from_user_allowed() cxl_payload_from_user_allowed() casts and dereferences the input payload without first verifying its size. When a raw mailbox command is sent with an undersized payload (ie: 1 byte for CXL_MBOX_OP_CLEAR_LOG, which expects a 16-byte UUID), uuid_equal() reads past the allocated buffer, triggering a KASAN splat: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in memcmp+0x176/0x1d0 lib/string.c:683 Read of size 8 at addr ffff88810130f5c0 by task syz.1.62/2258 CPU: 2 UID: 0 PID: 2258 Comm: syz.1.62 Not tainted 6.19.0-dirty #3 PREEMPT(voluntary) Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS rel-1.17.0-0-gb52ca86e094d-prebuilt.qemu.org 04/01/2014 Call Trace: <TASK> __dump_stack lib/dump_stack.c:94 [inline] dump_stack_lvl+0xab/0xe0 lib/dump_stack.c:120 print_address_description mm/kasan/report.c:378 [inline] print_report+0xce/0x650 mm/kasan/report.c:482 kasan_report+0xce/0x100 mm/kasan/report.c:595 memcmp+0x176/0x1d0 lib/string.c:683 uuid_equal include/linux/uuid.h:73 [inline] cxl_payload_from_user_allowed drivers/cxl/core/mbox.c:345 [inline] cxl_mbox_cmd_ctor drivers/cxl/core/mbox.c:368 [inline] cxl_validate_cmd_from_user drivers/cxl/core/mbox.c:522 [inline] cxl_send_cmd+0x9c0/0xb50 drivers/cxl/core/mbox.c:643 __cxl_memdev_ioctl drivers/cxl/core/memdev.c:698 [inline] cxl_memdev_ioctl+0x14f/0x190 drivers/cxl/core/memdev.c:713 vfs_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:51 [inline] __do_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:597 [inline] __se_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:583 [inline] __x64_sys_ioctl+0x18e/0x210 fs/ioctl.c:583 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:63 [inline] do_syscall_64+0xa8/0x330 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f RIP: 0033:0x7fdaf331ba79 Code: ff ff c3 66 2e 0f 1f 84 00 00 00 00 00 0f 1f 40 00 48 89 f8 48 89 f7 48 89 d6 48 89 ca 4d 89 c2 4d 89 c8 4c 8b 4c 24 08 0f 05 <48> 3d 01 f0 ff ff 73 01 c3 48 c7 c1 a8 ff ff ff f7 d8 64 89 01 48 RSP: 002b:00007fdaf1d77038 EFLAGS: 00000246 ORIG_RAX: 0000000000000010 RAX: ffffffffffffffda RBX: 00007fdaf3585fa0 RCX: 00007fdaf331ba79 RDX: 00002000000001c0 RSI: 00000000c030ce02 RDI: 0000000000000003 RBP: 00007fdaf33749df R08: 0000000000000000 R09: 0000000000000000 R10: 0000000000000000 R11: 0000000000000246 R12: 0000000000000000 R13: 00007fdaf3586038 R14: 00007fdaf3585fa0 R15: 00007ffced2af768 </TASK> Add 'in_size' parameter to cxl_payload_from_user_allowed() and validate the payload is large enough.
CVE-2025-40325 1 Linux 2 Kernel, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid10: wait barrier before returning discard request with REQ_NOWAIT raid10_handle_discard should wait barrier before returning a discard bio which has REQ_NOWAIT. And there is no need to print warning calltrace if a discard bio has REQ_NOWAIT flag. Quality engineer usually checks dmesg and reports error if dmesg has warning/error calltrace.
CVE-2025-37747 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix hang while freeing sigtrap event Perf can hang while freeing a sigtrap event if a related deferred signal hadn't managed to be sent before the file got closed: perf_event_overflow() task_work_add(perf_pending_task) fput() task_work_add(____fput()) task_work_run() ____fput() perf_release() perf_event_release_kernel() _free_event() perf_pending_task_sync() task_work_cancel() -> FAILED rcuwait_wait_event() Once task_work_run() is running, the list of pending callbacks is removed from the task_struct and from this point on task_work_cancel() can't remove any pending and not yet started work items, hence the task_work_cancel() failure and the hang on rcuwait_wait_event(). Task work could be changed to remove one work at a time, so a work running on the current task can always cancel a pending one, however the wait / wake design is still subject to inverted dependencies when remote targets are involved, as pictured by Oleg: T1 T2 fd = perf_event_open(pid => T2->pid); fd = perf_event_open(pid => T1->pid); close(fd) close(fd) <IRQ> <IRQ> perf_event_overflow() perf_event_overflow() task_work_add(perf_pending_task) task_work_add(perf_pending_task) </IRQ> </IRQ> fput() fput() task_work_add(____fput()) task_work_add(____fput()) task_work_run() task_work_run() ____fput() ____fput() perf_release() perf_release() perf_event_release_kernel() perf_event_release_kernel() _free_event() _free_event() perf_pending_task_sync() perf_pending_task_sync() rcuwait_wait_event() rcuwait_wait_event() Therefore the only option left is to acquire the event reference count upon queueing the perf task work and release it from the task work, just like it was done before 3a5465418f5f ("perf: Fix event leak upon exec and file release") but without the leaks it fixed. Some adjustments are necessary to make it work: * A child event might dereference its parent upon freeing. Care must be taken to release the parent last. * Some places assuming the event doesn't have any reference held and therefore can be freed right away must instead put the reference and let the reference counting to its job.

CVE-2025-21696 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: clear uffd-wp PTE/PMD state on mremap() When mremap()ing a memory region previously registered with userfaultfd as write-protected but without UFFD_FEATURE_EVENT_REMAP, an inconsistency in flag clearing leads to a mismatch between the vma flags (which have uffd-wp cleared) and the pte/pmd flags (which do not have uffd-wp cleared). This mismatch causes a subsequent mprotect(PROT_WRITE) to trigger a warning in page_table_check_pte_flags() due to setting the pte to writable while uffd-wp is still set. Fix this by always explicitly clearing the uffd-wp pte/pmd flags on any such mremap() so that the values are consistent with the existing clearing of VM_UFFD_WP. Be careful to clear the logical flag regardless of its physical form; a PTE bit, a swap PTE bit, or a PTE marker. Cover PTE, huge PMD and hugetlb paths.
CVE-2024-53094 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/siw: Add sendpage_ok() check to disable MSG_SPLICE_PAGES While running ISER over SIW, the initiator machine encounters a warning from skb_splice_from_iter() indicating that a slab page is being used in send_page. To address this, it is better to add a sendpage_ok() check within the driver itself, and if it returns 0, then MSG_SPLICE_PAGES flag should be disabled before entering the network stack. A similar issue has been discussed for NVMe in this thread: https://lore.kernel.org/all/20240530142417.146696-1-ofir.gal@volumez.com/ WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 5342 at net/core/skbuff.c:7140 skb_splice_from_iter+0x173/0x320 Call Trace: tcp_sendmsg_locked+0x368/0xe40 siw_tx_hdt+0x695/0xa40 [siw] siw_qp_sq_process+0x102/0xb00 [siw] siw_sq_resume+0x39/0x110 [siw] siw_run_sq+0x74/0x160 [siw] kthread+0xd2/0x100 ret_from_fork+0x34/0x40 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1a/0x30
CVE-2024-47664 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: hisi-kunpeng: Add verification for the max_frequency provided by the firmware If the value of max_speed_hz is 0, it may cause a division by zero error in hisi_calc_effective_speed(). The value of max_speed_hz is provided by firmware. Firmware is generally considered as a trusted domain. However, as division by zero errors can cause system failure, for defense measure, the value of max_speed is validated here. So 0 is regarded as invalid and an error code is returned.
CVE-2024-42243 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Rhel Eus 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/filemap: make MAX_PAGECACHE_ORDER acceptable to xarray Patch series "mm/filemap: Limit page cache size to that supported by xarray", v2. Currently, xarray can't support arbitrary page cache size. More details can be found from the WARN_ON() statement in xas_split_alloc(). In our test whose code is attached below, we hit the WARN_ON() on ARM64 system where the base page size is 64KB and huge page size is 512MB. The issue was reported long time ago and some discussions on it can be found here [1]. [1] https://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-xfs/msg75404.html In order to fix the issue, we need to adjust MAX_PAGECACHE_ORDER to one supported by xarray and avoid PMD-sized page cache if needed. The code changes are suggested by David Hildenbrand. CVE-2026-87863 1 Curl 1 Curl 2026-10-30 8.1 High
An authenticated HTTPS origin can supply an HSTS `max-age` value that the parser accepts, but time serialization later fails to process. On 64-bit systems, extreme max-age values compute an absolute expiry within standard time integer limits that exceeds calendar time structure bounds. During cache saves, the original HSTS file is truncated before writing a temporary replacement; when serialization fails, the temporary file is deleted, leaving an empty or partial cache. Because the save error is silently ignored during cleanup, curl exits successfully despite the data loss.
CVE-2026-87862 1 Curl 1 Curl 2026-10-30 8.1 High
Importing a `includeSubDomains` parent HSTS entry before a longer-lived child entry, silently drops the child. Consequently, when the parent expires, the child's valid HSTS policy is lost, causing curl to issue unencrypted HTTP requests rather than upgrading to HTTPS.
CVE-2026-87861 1 Curl 1 Curl 2026-10-30 9.1 Critical
When using ambient user credentials, an HTTP request directed to one origin may be dispatched over a connection previously authenticated via Negotiate for a different origin, leaving the request's intended credentials unused.
CVE-2026-86415 1 Curl 1 Curl 2026-10-30 7.5 High
libcurl's connection cache match function never considers the automatic client certificate option, so a cached, already authenticated Schannel connection can be handed to a transfer that got redirected to a different origin, even though the code explicitly switched off the auto client cert option for that transfer to prevent exactly this.
CVE-2026-86414 1 Curl 1 Curl 2026-10-30 9.1 Critical
An HTTP proxy can trick libcurl into sending the origin's credentials (Basic password, or a Negotiate/Kerberos ticket) to the proxy itself, by answering the `CONNECT` tunnel request with 401 `WWW-Authenticate:` instead of the expected 407 `Proxy-Authenticate:`.
CVE-2026-86413 1 Curl 1 Curl 2026-10-30 9.1 Critical
When using an *ambient user* in a first transfer doing Negotiate authentication and asked to follow redirects, curl could pass on its credential details to an unrelated second origin when asked to redirect there.

CVE-2026-104596 2026-10-30 7.5 High
libosmocore through 1.14.1 contains out-of-bounds reads in the GSM 04.80 supplementary-service component parsers in src/gsm/gsm0480.c. This allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information.
CVE-2026-91248 1 Oracle 1 Webcenter Portal 2026-10-29 5.3 Medium
Vulnerability in the Oracle WebCenter Portal product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Runtime Tools). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle WebCenter Portal. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle WebCenter Portal accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.3 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N).
