CVE-2026-6893 1 Redhat 13 Dracut, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 10 more 2026-10-27 7.5 High
A flaw was found in dracut. A remote attacker on the adjacent network can exploit this vulnerability by providing specially crafted DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) options, such as a malicious hostname, to a system using dracut's legacy DHCP path. These options are improperly handled and written into temporary shell scripts without proper escaping, leading to command injection. This allows the attacker to achieve root code execution within the initramfs, potentially compromising the system's boot and network behavior.
CVE-2026-110036 2 Red Hat, Redhat 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-10-26 3.3 Low
A flaw was found in device-mapper-persistent-data. A local attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by inducing a user or system tool to process crafted device metadata containing an excessively large block index. An arithmetic error in the synchronous block reading logic causes the application to panic and unexpectedly terminate.
CVE-2026-39979 2 Jqlang, Redhat 14 Jq, Ai Inference Server, Ansible Automation Platform and 11 more 2026-10-26 6.5 Medium
jq is a command-line JSON processor. In commits before 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f, the jv_parse_sized() API in libjq accepts a counted buffer with an explicit length parameter, but its error-handling path formats the input buffer using %s in jv_string_fmt(), which reads until a NUL terminator is found rather than respecting the caller-supplied length. This means that when malformed JSON is passed in a non-NUL-terminated buffer, the error construction logic performs an out-of-bounds read past the end of the buffer. The vulnerability is reachable by any libjq consumer calling jv_parse_sized() with untrusted input, and depending on memory layout, can result in memory disclosure or process termination. The issue has been patched in commit 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f.
CVE-2026-109854 3 M17n-lib, Red Hat, Redhat 3 M17n-lib, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-25 2.5 Low
A flaw was found in m17n-lib. An attacker who supplies crafted input to an application processing ISO-2022 encoded text can cause the library to read uninitialized memory from the stack. If the application exposes or returns the decoded output, this flaw can result in unexpected behavior and limited information disclosure.
CVE-2026-17591 3 Libarchive, Red Hat, Redhat 5 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-10-24 3.6 Low
A flaw was found in libarchive. An attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) or potential information disclosure due to a use-after-free vulnerability, which occurs when a program reads memory that has already been released. This issue arises when the archive_entry_copy_mac_metadata() function deallocates an internal buffer before completing a data copy. An attacker who can supply input to an application utilizing this function can trigger the flaw to crash the application or read uninitialized memory data.
CVE-2026-94422 2 Flatpak, Redhat 2 Xdg-dbus-proxy, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-24 8.8 High
An incorrect implementation of message filtering in xdg-dbus-proxy versions before 0.1.9 allows an attacker to bypass the intended message filtering on the D-Bus session bus by setting a reply serial number on non-reply messages. A malicious or compromised Flatpak app could use this to achieve arbitrary code execution outside its sandbox. xdg-dbus-proxy was designed to be part of the sandbox boundary for Flatpak, but it is released as a separate project and is sometimes used by other app frameworks such as Firejail.
CVE-2026-115449 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-10-23 3.5 Low
A flaw was found in libslirp. When handling ICMP echo requests, the reply length is not updated to match the actual data received from the host. Under specific conditions where the normal ICMP socket is unavailable, this length mismatch causes the host's real IP address to be leaked to the guest in the echo reply, breaking the NAT isolation that user-mode networking is expected to provide.
CVE-2026-114370 1 Redhat 6 Camel Spring Boot, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 3 more 2026-10-21 3.7 Low
A flaw was found in the PathResourceManager component of the Undertow web server. This component is responsible for serving static files from the file system. The issue occurs because the mechanism used to verify if a symbolic link points to a safe location only checks if the target path starts with a specific string, without ensuring it matches a full directory name. This could allow an attacker to access files in a sibling directory if that directorys name starts with the same characters as an authorized safe directory.
CVE-2026-16487 2 Bootc, Redhat 4 Bootc, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more 2026-10-21 8.1 High
Red Hat Product Security has determined that this is not a vulnerability in bootc or containers-common. bootc fetches images under /etc/containers/policy.json. The shipped default is insecureAcceptAnything for registries without an explicit signature requirement; registry.redhat.io and registry.access.redhat.com require signatures. Updating a mutable tag requires the ability to publish to the reference an administrator has already configured the host to follow. Requiring signatures is available through that policy and through bootc enforce-container-sigpolicy, which is off by default. Persistence of /var across bootc rollback is expected image-mode behavior.
CVE-2024-10306 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Rhel Eus 2026-10-21 5.4 Medium
A vulnerability was found in mod_proxy_cluster. The issue is that the <Directory> directive should be replaced by the <Location> directive as the former does not restrict IP/host access as `Require ip IP_ADDRESS` would suggest. This means that anyone with access to the host might send MCMP requests that may result in adding/removing/updating nodes for the balancing. However, this host should not be accessible to the public network as it does not serve the general traffic.
CVE-2026-92768 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to expose sensitive Virtual Machine (VM) credentials, including plaintext passwords, by inspecting process command-line arguments during VM creation or installation. The cockpit-machines component passes password values directly on the command line, making them visible to other local users on systems where process arguments are not restricted. Successful exploitation leads to information disclosure, potentially compromising VM access.
CVE-2026-92745 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5 Medium
A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. This vulnerability allows a local attacker with the ability to inspect process metadata to disclose a sensitive Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM) offline token. The token is exposed when it is passed as a command-line argument to a helper script during the token validation process. Successful exploitation could lead to the compromise of confidentiality, as the exposed token can be used to request access tokens.
CVE-2026-92747 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5 Medium
A flaw was found in `cockpit-machines`. This vulnerability allows a local attacker with the ability to inspect running processes to expose sensitive guest virtual machine (VM) credentials, such as `rootPassword` and `userPassword`. This occurs when the `install_machine.py` script passes these credentials as a JSON command-line argument during VM creation or installation. The exposure is limited to the period when the installation workflow is active and depends on host process-visibility policies.
CVE-2024-57809 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: imx6: Fix suspend/resume support on i.MX6QDL The suspend/resume functionality is currently broken on the i.MX6QDL platform, as documented in the NXP errata (ERR005723): https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/errata/IMX6DQCE.pdf This patch addresses the issue by sharing most of the suspend/resume sequences used by other i.MX devices, while avoiding modifications to critical registers that disrupt the PCIe functionality. It targets the same problem as the following downstream commit: https://github.com/nxp-imx/linux-imx/commit/4e92355e1f79d225ea842511fcfd42b343b32995 Unlike the downstream commit, this patch also resets the connected PCIe device if possible. Without this reset, certain drivers, such as ath10k or iwlwifi, will crash on resume. The device reset is also done by the driver on other i.MX platforms, making this patch consistent with existing practices. Upon resuming, the kernel will hang and display an error. Here's an example of the error encountered with the ath10k driver: ath10k_pci 0000:01:00.0: Unable to change power state from D3hot to D0, device inaccessible Unhandled fault: imprecise external abort (0x1406) at 0x0106f944 Without this patch, suspend/resume will fail on i.MX6QDL devices if a PCIe device is connected. [kwilczynski: commit log, added tag for stable releases]
CVE-2024-56544 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udmabuf: change folios array from kmalloc to kvmalloc When PAGE_SIZE 4096, MAX_PAGE_ORDER 10, 64bit machine, page_alloc only support 4MB. If above this, trigger this warn and return NULL. udmabuf can change size limit, if change it to 3072(3GB), and then alloc 3GB udmabuf, will fail create. [ 4080.876581] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [ 4080.876843] WARNING: CPU: 3 PID: 2015 at mm/page_alloc.c:4556 __alloc_pages+0x2c8/0x350 [ 4080.878839] RIP: 0010:__alloc_pages+0x2c8/0x350 [ 4080.879470] Call Trace: [ 4080.879473] <TASK> [ 4080.879473] ? __alloc_pages+0x2c8/0x350 [ 4080.879475] ? __warn.cold+0x8e/0xe8 [ 4080.880647] ? __alloc_pages+0x2c8/0x350 [ 4080.880909] ? report_bug+0xff/0x140 [ 4080.881175] ? handle_bug+0x3c/0x80 [ 4080.881556] ? exc_invalid_op+0x17/0x70 [ 4080.881559] ? asm_exc_invalid_op+0x1a/0x20 [ 4080.882077] ? udmabuf_create+0x131/0x400 Because MAX_PAGE_ORDER, kmalloc can max alloc 4096 * (1 << 10), 4MB memory, each array entry is pointer(8byte), so can save 524288 pages(2GB). Further more, costly order(order 3) may not be guaranteed that it can be applied for, due to fragmentation. This patch change udmabuf array use kvmalloc_array, this can fallback alloc into vmalloc, which can guarantee allocation for any size and does not affect the performance of kmalloc allocations.
CVE-2024-49888 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix a sdiv overflow issue Zac Ecob reported a problem where a bpf program may cause kernel crash due to the following error: Oops: divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP KASAN PTI The failure is due to the below signed divide: LLONG_MIN/-1 where LLONG_MIN equals to -9,223,372,036,854,775,808. LLONG_MIN/-1 is supposed to give a positive number 9,223,372,036,854,775,808, but it is impossible since for 64-bit system, the maximum positive number is 9,223,372,036,854,775,807. On x86_64, LLONG_MIN/-1 will cause a kernel exception. On arm64, the result for LLONG_MIN/-1 is LLONG_MIN. Further investigation found all the following sdiv/smod cases may trigger an exception when bpf program is running on x86_64 platform: - LLONG_MIN/-1 for 64bit operation - INT_MIN/-1 for 32bit operation - LLONG_MIN%-1 for 64bit operation - INT_MIN%-1 for 32bit operation where -1 can be an immediate or in a register. On arm64, there are no exceptions: - LLONG_MIN/-1 = LLONG_MIN - INT_MIN/-1 = INT_MIN - LLONG_MIN%-1 = 0 - INT_MIN%-1 = 0 where -1 can be an immediate or in a register. Insn patching is needed to handle the above cases and the patched codes produced results aligned with above arm64 result. The below are pseudo codes to handle sdiv/smod exceptions including both divisor -1 and divisor 0 and the divisor is stored in a register. sdiv: tmp = rX tmp += 1 /* [-1, 0] -> [0, 1] if tmp >(unsigned) 1 goto L2 if tmp == 0 goto L1 rY = 0 L1: rY = -rY; goto L3 L2: rY /= rX L3: smod: tmp = rX tmp += 1 /* [-1, 0] -> [0, 1] if tmp >(unsigned) 1 goto L1 if tmp == 1 (is64 ? goto L2 : goto L3) rY = 0; goto L2 L1: rY %= rX L2: goto L4 // only when !is64 L3: wY = wY // only when !is64 L4: [1] https://lore.kernel.org/bpf/tPJLTEh7S_DxFEqAI2Ji5MBSoZVg7_G-Py2iaZpAaWtM961fFTWtsnlzwvTbzBzaUzwQAoNATXKUlt0LZOFgnDcIyKCswAnAGdUF3LBrhGQ=@protonmail.com/
CVE-2024-49885 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm, slub: avoid zeroing kmalloc redzone Since commit 946fa0dbf2d8 ("mm/slub: extend redzone check to extra allocated kmalloc space than requested"), setting orig_size treats the wasted space (object_size - orig_size) as a redzone. However with init_on_free=1 we clear the full object->size, including the redzone. Additionally we clear the object metadata, including the stored orig_size, making it zero, which makes check_object() treat the whole object as a redzone. These issues lead to the following BUG report with "slub_debug=FUZ init_on_free=1": [ 0.000000] ============================================================================= [ 0.000000] BUG kmalloc-8 (Not tainted): kmalloc Redzone overwritten [ 0.000000] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [ 0.000000] [ 0.000000] 0xffff000010032858-0xffff00001003285f @offset=2136. And restore the value of orig_size after clear the remaining area. When CONFIG_SLUB_DEBUG not defined, (get_orig_size()' directly returns s->object_size. So when using memset to init the area, the size can simply be orig_size, as orig_size returns object_size when CONFIG_SLUB_DEBUG not enabled. And orig_size can never be bigger than object_size.
CVE-2026-110924 2 Openssh, Redhat 4 Openssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more 2026-10-21 4.8 Medium
CVE-2026-110924 has been marked as a duplicate of CVE-2026-106553.
CVE-2026-1961 3 Red Hat, Redhat, Theforeman 7 Red Hat Satellite 6, Enterprise Linux, Satellite and 4 more 2026-10-20 8 High
A flaw was found in Foreman. A remote attacker could exploit a command injection vulnerability in Foreman's WebSocket proxy implementation. This vulnerability arises from the system's use of unsanitized hostname values from compute resource providers when constructing shell commands. By operating a malicious compute resource server, an attacker could achieve remote code execution on the Foreman server when a user accesses VM VNC console functionality. This could lead to the compromise of sensitive credentials and the entire managed infrastructure.
CVE-2026-87766 1 Redhat 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Hardened Images and 6 more 2026-10-19 8.8 High
A flaw was found in bubblewrap. During sandbox setup, creating files or directories under the new root can follow a parent symlink onto the host via /oldroot, writing attacker-chosen paths outside the sandbox as the launching user. This happens before the sandboxed process starts. This issue is GHSA-pxhw-h44j-8pfx. It is fixed in bubblewrap 0.12.0.
