| CVE-2022-50633 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: dwc3: qcom: Fix memory leak in dwc3_qcom_interconnect_init of_icc_get() alloc resources for path handle, we should release it when not need anymore. Like the release in dwc3_qcom_interconnect_exit() function. Add icc_put() in error handling to fix this. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50749 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: acct: fix potential integer overflow in encode_comp_t() The integer overflow is descripted with following codes: > 317 static comp_t encode_comp_t(u64 value) > 318 { > 319 int exp, rnd; ...... > 341 exp <<= MANTSIZE; > 342 exp += value; > 343 return exp; > 344 } Currently comp_t is defined as type of '__u16', but the variable 'exp' is type of 'int', so overflow would happen when variable 'exp' in line 343 is greater than 65535. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40102 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Prevent access to vCPU events before init Another day, another syzkaller bug. KVM erroneously allows userspace to pend vCPU events for a vCPU that hasn't been initialized yet, leading to KVM interpreting a bunch of uninitialized garbage for routing / injecting the exception. In one case the injection code and the hyp disagree on whether the vCPU has a 32bit EL1 and put the vCPU into an illegal mode for AArch64, tripping the BUG() in exception_target_el() during the next injection: kernel BUG at arch/arm64/kvm/inject_fault.c:40! It means it should not allocate memory while holding a raw_spin_lock since it is not safe for RT. raw_spin_lock is needed because bpf_local_storage supports tracing context. In particular for task local storage, it is easy to get a "current" task PTR_TO_BTF_ID in tracing bpf prog. However, task (and cgroup) local storage has already been moved to bpf mem allocator which can be used after raw_spin_lock. The splat is for the sk storage. For sk (and inode) storage, it has not been moved to bpf mem allocator. Using raw_spin_lock or not, kzalloc(GFP_ATOMIC) could theoretically be unsafe in tracing context. However, the local storage helper requires a verifier accepted sk pointer (PTR_TO_BTF_ID), it is hypothetical if that (mean running a bpf prog in a kzalloc unsafe context and also able to hold a verifier accepted sk pointer) could happen. This patch avoids kzalloc after raw_spin_lock to silent the splat. There is an existing kzalloc before the raw_spin_lock. At that point, a kzalloc is very likely required because a lookup has just been done before. Thus, this patch always does the kzalloc before acq ---truncated--- | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mdio: Check regmap pointer returned by device_node_to_regmap() The call to device_node_to_regmap() in airoha_mdio_probe() can return an ERR_PTR() if regmap initialization fails. Currently, the driver stores the pointer without validation, which could lead to a crash if it is later dereferenced. Add an IS_ERR() check and return the corresponding error code to make the probe path more robust. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/netiucv: Fix return type of netiucv_tx() With clang's kernel control flow integrity (kCFI, CONFIG_CFI_CLANG), indirect call targets are validated against the expected function pointer prototype to make sure the call target is valid to help mitigate ROP attacks. If they are not identical, there is a failure at run time, which manifests as either a kernel panic or thread getting killed. A proposed warning in clang aims to catch these at compile time, which reveals: drivers/s390/net/netiucv.c:1854:21: error: incompatible function pointer types initializing 'netdev_tx_t (*)(struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)' (aka 'enum netdev_tx (*)(struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)') with an expression of type 'int (struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)' [-Werror,-Wincompatible-function-pointer-types-strict] .ndo_start_xmit = netiucv_tx, ^~~~~~~~~~ ->ndo_start_xmit() in 'struct net_device_ops' expects a return type of 'netdev_tx_t', not 'int'. Adjust the return type of netiucv_tx() to match the prototype's to resolve the warning and potential CFI failure, should s390 select ARCH_SUPPORTS_CFI_CLANG in the future. Additionally, while in the area, remove a comment block that is no longer relevant. | ||||

| ntfs3 in the Linux kernel through 6.8.0 allows a physically proximate attacker to read kernel memory by mounting a filesystem (e.g., if a Linux distribution is configured to allow unprivileged mounts of removable media) and then leveraging local access to trigger an out-of-bounds read. NOTE: the supplier's perspective is that there is no vulnerability when an attack requires an attacker-modified filesystem image. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: most: remove broken i2c driver The MOST I2C driver has been completely broken for five years without anyone noticing so remove the driver from staging. Specifically, commit 723de0f9171e ("staging: most: remove device from interface structure") started requiring drivers to set the interface device pointer before registration, but the I2C driver was never updated which results in a NULL pointer dereference if anyone ever tries to probe it. | ||||
