| CVE-2026-93687 | 2 Jonschlinkert, Micromatch | 2 Braces, Braces | 2026-09-18 | 7.5 High |
| braces through 3.0.3 contains a stack overflow vulnerability in the recursive AST walkers that lack depth guards. Attackers can supply deeply nested brace patterns under the character limit to exhaust the call stack and terminate the Node.js process with an uncaught RangeError. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93736 | 2 Mealie, Mealie-recipes | 2 Mealie, Mealie | 2026-09-18 | 4.3 Medium |
| Mealie before 3.21.0 fails to validate user ownership in the ratings and favorites endpoints, allowing authenticated attackers to read any user's recipe ratings and favorites by specifying arbitrary user IDs in the URL path. Attackers can access private recipe identifiers, rating values, and favorite flags belonging to other users across different groups or households. | ||||
| CVE-2026-90129 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-18 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_balloon: quiesce balloon work before device shutdown Commit 8bd2fa086a04 ("virtio: break and reset virtio devices on device_shutdown()") added a generic virtio bus .shutdown handler that breaks and resets every virtio device during device_shutdown(), i.e. on reboot and kexec. virtio_balloon provides no .shutdown of its own, so that generic path runs while the balloon's asynchronous work is still armed. Once the device has been broken, virtqueue_add_inbuf() in virtballoon_free_page_report() returns -EIO and trips its WARN_ON_ONCE(). On a kernel booted with panic_on_warn that turns an ordinary reboot, for example a kexec based upgrade, into a fatal panic in the middle of device_shutdown(), so the machine never reaches the new kernel. Relaxing that single WARN_ON_ONCE() would only hide the symptom: the inflate/deflate and OOM paths do not warn, they call wait_event(vb->acked, ...) and would instead block forever on a broken queue that can no longer complete. The device has to be quiesced, not just kept quiet. Add a .shutdown handler that quiesces the balloon via the shared virtballoon_quiesce() helper while the device is still alive, and only then breaks and resets it via virtio_device_shutdown(). Unlike virtballoon_remove() the balloon workqueue is not destroyed, as shutdown does not free the device and cancel_work_sync() together with stop_update already prevent any further work from being queued. | ||||
| CVE-2026-90138 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-18 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock: don't check the listener's sk_err in vsock_accept() Syzbot reported an issue which can be reproduced with these steps: r0 = socket(AF_VSOCK, SOCK_STREAM, 0) bind(r0, {VMADDR_CID_ANY, PORT}) connect(r0, {VMADDR_CID_LOCAL, PORT}) -> -1, EPROTO (self-connect) listen(r0, backlog) -> 0 r1 = socket(AF_VSOCK, SOCK_STREAM, 0) connect(r1, {VMADDR_CID_LOCAL, PORT}) -> 0 accept(r0) -> -1, EPROTO (stale sk_err) Basically, it creates a socket (r0) and triggers a self-connect after binding it. This self-connect fails with EPROTO because it loops back to r0 while the socket is still in the TCP_SYN_SENT state, causing it to be incorrectly dispatched to the connecting-client path. The unexpected packet type encountered there sets sk_err to EPROTO. After that, it invokes a listen() call on the same socket. This listen() call succeeds because the kernel's listening path never inspects or clears sk_err. Then, a new socket (r1) is created as a normal client and connects to r0. However, vsock_accept() rejects this incoming connection because the listener's sk_err still holds the EPROTO error from the earlier failed self-connect. This rejection causes the child socket created for r1's connection to never be freed on virtio or hyperv transports; only the VMCI transport implements pending_work to revisit and clean up a rejected socket. For a non-blocking connect(), vsock_connect() may return -EINPROGRESS immediately, and vsock_connect_timeout() can later set sk->sk_err asynchronously. Since no vsock transport ever sets sk_err on a socket while it is in TCP_LISTEN state, checking it in vsock_accept() serves no purpose and only carries forward errors left behind by earlier, unrelated connection attempts on the same socket. Remove the checks so accept() no longer rejects valid incoming connections because of a stale error, which also avoids the resource leak described above. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73438 | 1 Arista | 1 Eos | 2026-09-18 | 5.3 Medium |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with Open Shortest Path First version 3 (OSPFv3) configured, an unauthenticated attacker on the same OSPFv3 broadcast domain can send a specially crafted set of packets that can cause the Ospf3 agent to restart unexpectedly. The crash results in the loss of all OSPFv3 adjacencies on the affected device and may disrupt routing across the broader OSPF domain until the agent recovers. This issue was reported externally by Dravanet Inc., and Arista is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20282 | 1 Cisco | 1 Identity Services Engine Software | 2026-09-18 | 4.9 Medium |
| A vulnerability in Cisco ISE could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to obtain write access on the underlying operating system of an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain write access to the underlying operating system. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. Note: For CVE-2026-20282, Cisco has assigned a Security Impact Rating (SIR) of High rather than Medium as the score indicates. The reason is that it is easy to get to root from the achieved privilege level. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20342 | 1 Cisco | 1 Secure Firewall Management Center | 2026-09-18 | 7.7 High |
| A vulnerability in a specific file download API of Cisco Secure FMC Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to download arbitrary files from an affected system. This vulnerability exists because user input is not being sanitized. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTPS request. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to download arbitrary files from the affected system. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid credentials for a user account with at least the role of Security Analyst (read-only). | ||||
| CVE-2026-71855 | 2026-09-18 | 5.9 Medium | ||
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, src/flow-hash.c can treat an IPv4 and IPv6 flow as equal without comparing the IP family when their raw address words, ports, protocol, VLAN, recursion level, live device, and hash bucket align. An IPv6 packet can therefore reuse IPv4 flow state or the reverse, causing incorrect flowbit state, detection bypass, or IP-only bypass. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63647 | 2026-09-18 | N/A | ||
| CordysCRM is an open source AI-powered customer relationship management system that supports private deployment. Prior to 1.7.2, SseController exposes the anonymous /sse/subscribe, /sse/broadcast, and /sse/close endpoints because ShiroFilter.addPublicPathFilters permits the SSE paths, and the endpoints trust the caller-controlled userId instead of deriving an identity from an authenticated principal. An unauthenticated caller can use /sse/subscribe to read another user's workflow events, approval requests, mentions, and alerts, use /sse/broadcast to inject SYSTEM_HEARTBEAT messages into another user's stream, or use /sse/close to terminate another user's channel. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57229 | 2026-09-18 | 5.3 Medium | ||
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the SMTP MIME parser in rust/src/mime/smtp.rs does not fully reset state when processing Content-Type: message/rfc822 encapsulation. An outer MIME part's encoding or filename state can leak into the inner message, allowing crafted mail to evade detections based on file.data, file.name, or extracted URLs when SMTP MIME decoding is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76427 | 1 Cisco | 2 Identity Services Engine Passive Identity Connector, Identity Services Engine Software | 2026-09-18 | 4.9 Medium |
| A vulnerability in the offline profiler feed service of Cisco ISE could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to read arbitrary files that are stored on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to the parsing of attacker-controlled feed metadata with an XML parser that does not disable external entity resolution. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by uploading a crafted offline feed package through the administrative interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read arbitrary files from the file system and issue requests to internal systems from the affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63506 | 2 Tina, Tinacms | 2 Tinacms, Next-tinacms-azure | 2026-09-18 | 8.8 High |
| Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to @tinacms/auth 1.1.4 and next-tinacms-azure 15.0.1, isAuthorized accepts a request-controlled clientID and asks isUserAuthorized to validate the bearer token against that selected TinaCloud app instead of the self-hosted site's configured app. An attacker with any TinaCloud account can submit the attacker's own app ID and valid token to a victim endpoint, causing TinaCloudBackendAuthProvider or an affected media authorized callback to accept the attacker's verified status across the tenant boundary. The vulnerable logic is present in packages/@tinacms/auth/src/index.ts and packages/next-tinacms-azure/src/auth.ts. Successful exploitation permits media listing, reading, upload, or deletion and, when TinaCloudBackendAuthProvider is used, GraphQL read, create, update, and delete operations on the victim's content without a victim account or victim interaction. This vulnerability is fixed in @tinacms/auth 1.1.4 and next-tinacms-azure 15.0.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54451 | 1 Protobuf | 1 Protobuf | 2026-09-18 | 7.5 High |
| Elixir protobuf is a pure Elixir implementation of Google Protobuf. From 0.8.0 until 0.16.1, services that decode attacker-controlled protobuf bytes with Protobuf.Decoder can be taken offline when the schema contains a self-referential or cyclic message type. In lib/protobuf/decoder.ex, Protobuf.Decoder.value_for_field/3 handles an embedded?: true field by recursively entering the decode / build_message / handle_value / value_for_field call chain without enforcing a nesting-depth limit. Deeply nested embedded fields retain non-tail recursive frames, allowing a comparatively small request to consume substantial CPU and memory, pin a BEAM scheduler, and exhaust the node. This issue is fixed in version 0.16.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54239 | 2 Wordpress, Wp Engine | 2 Wordpress, Faust.js | 2026-09-18 | 8.8 High |
| Faust.js is a headless WordPress toolkit. Prior to 1.8.11, the FaustWP WordPress plugin authenticates only the ciphertext in its token envelope and excludes the 16-byte initialization vector from the HMAC in WPE\FaustWP\Auth\encrypt() and WPE\FaustWP\Auth\decrypt() in plugins/faustwp/includes/auth/functions.php. A logged-in non-administrator who obtains an authorization code from GET /generate can modify the unauthenticated initialization vector so that CBC decryption changes the token type and user identifier while the HMAC remains valid. This can produce an access token for an Administrator and permit full WordPress REST API access, administrator-account creation, plugin installation, and arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in repository version 1.8.11. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93871 | 1 Cotonti | 1 Cotonti Siena | 2026-09-18 | 5.4 Medium |
| Cotonti through 1.0.0 fails to validate redirect destinations in page bodies prefixed with redir:, allowing authenticated users with page creation or edit permissions to store redirects to arbitrary external hosts. Attackers can craft pages on trusted domains that redirect visitors to malicious sites for phishing attacks without administrative privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93869 | 1 Cotonti | 1 Cotonti Siena | 2026-09-18 | 6.1 Medium |
| Cotonti through 1.0.0 contains an open redirect vulnerability in the cot_url_check() function that validates redirect destinations using a regular expression lacking an end-of-string anchor. Attackers can bypass the redirect guard by supplying hostnames beginning with the site domain to redirect users to attacker-controlled hosts through the ratings plugin or other redirect callers. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92948 | 1 Patriksimek | 1 Vm2 | 2026-09-18 | 9.9 Critical |
| vm2 versions >= 3.9.6 and <= 3.11.6 are affected by a NodeVM builtin allowlist bypass that permits a sandbox escape on Node.js 24 and newer when the embedder explicitly allows the node:test builtin (e.g. require: { builtin: ['node:test'] }). On Node.js 24+, module.builtinModules exposes the scheme-only key node:test, which is not covered by vm2's family-based DANGEROUS_BUILTINS protection, so it is stored in the generic host-passthrough loader. Because requireImpl() in lib/setup-node-sandbox.js strips a single 'node:' prefix before the builtin lookup, sandbox code calling require('node:node:test') resolves to the stored node:test key and receives a readonly proxy to the host module. Calls to node:test.run() are forwarded to the host implementation, which spawns a separate Node process for process-isolated test execution and passes through attacker-controlled execArgv values; supplying --eval=<JavaScript> therefore executes arbitrary JavaScript in an unrestricted host Node process outside the NodeVM sandbox. Fixed in vm2 3.11.7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91202 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-18 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-files. A low-privileged local user can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a directory containing a symbolic link (symlink) and then using the privileged "Paste as owner" function. This allows for arbitrary file ownership changes outside the intended pasted directory, leading to a compromise of data integrity. In some cases, this could also lead to reduced confidentiality if the new ownership grants unauthorized read access. Exploitation requires user interaction to select a non-original owner during the paste operation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-77385 | 2026-09-18 | 4.3 Medium | ||
| Kyoo is a self-hosted media server focused on movies, series, and anime. Prior to 5.1.0, a registered user with the core.play permission could supply a base64-encoded filesystem path to the transcoder. The path handling in transcoder/src/api/path.go cleaned the value and checked only that it began with Settings.SafePath before getHash processed it, while transcoder/src/api/streams.go served the accepted path without verifying a Kyoo catalog record. This missing catalog-level authorization allowed the user to retrieve hidden, temporary, operational, or other uncataloged files beneath the media directory when the path was known or guessed. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.1.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76901 | 2026-09-18 | 5.8 Medium | ||
| CordysCRM is an open source AI-powered customer relationship management system that supports private deployment. Prior to 1.7.4, GET /pool/lead/get/{id} in PoolClueController.get and GET /pool/account/get/{id} in PoolCustomerController.get use bare pool-read permission checks without the CsPermission resourceId binding that enforces per-record data scope. An authenticated user with the ordinary CLUE_MANAGEMENT_POOL:READ or CUSTOMER_MANAGEMENT_POOL:READ permission can supply another record's id and cause unscoped primary-key getters to return leads or accounts owned by other users, departments, or organizations. Exposed data includes contact names, phone numbers, owner and department attribution, and custom field values. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.4. | ||||
